Electrophoretic coating line is an advanced surface coating equipment, mainly used in automobile manufacturing, mechanical processing, home appliance production and many other industries. Its unique working principle enables efficient and high-quality coating coverage to meet the different requirements of different industries for product surface treatment.
Electrophoretic coating line is based on electrophoretic coating technology. The core principle of this technology is to use electric field to make coating particles migrate directionally in liquid medium and deposit on the surface of workpiece. In the whole process of electrophoretic coating, the workpiece is first completely immersed in an electrophoretic tank filled with aqueous paint. In this special water-based coating, a large number of charged colloidal particles are uniformly suspended. These particles are composed of resin as the main body of film formation, mixed pigments to give color, and then added with various functional additives. Then, depending on the characteristics of the coating and the specific requirements of the production process, the workpiece will be connected to the appropriate electrode and thus assigned the role of anode or cathode.
In addition, the electroosmosis effect in electrophoretic coating can not be ignored. When a wet coating of a certain thickness is formed on the surface of the workpiece, the coating is similar to a semi-permeable membrane. Under the continuous action of an electric field, water in the coating is gradually dialyzed out of the coating under the driving of electroosmosis force and moves to the direction of a bath solution, so that the water in the coating is continuously reduced in the process, the coating is dehydrated, and the coating becomes more compact, and the performances of corrosion resistance, adhesive force and the like of the coating are improved.
After the electrophoretic coating is completed, the wet coating formed on the surface of the workpiece needs to be further treated. Workpieces will be transferred to the drying equipment, under the condition of appropriate temperature for baking, make the organic solvent in the coating volatilization, resin and other components in the coating crosslinking curing reaction, finally form a hard, firm and has good protective performance of dry coating. With its unique working principle, the electrophoretic coating line can achieve uniform and dense coating coverage on the surface of various workpieces with complex shapes and diverse structures, which is an advantage that many traditional coating methods are difficult to achieve.
